WooCommerce Development
WooCommerce development from products and payments to a checkout that works smoothly on mobile.
I offer WooCommerce development for new stores and fixes on existing ones: catalog and product setup, payments, shipping, taxes, order emails, checkout customization, and custom features when your shop needs something standard plugins do not cover well. I am based in Surat, India, and I work with store owners nearby and clients who prefer remote collaboration.
WooCommerce is the open-source ecommerce toolkit for WordPress; you can learn more at WooCommerce.com. My role is to configure and customize it so products, cart, and checkout match how you actually sell.
Before a launch, I like a practical checklist covering products, checkout, email, security, and mobile. I published the list I use here: WordPress + WooCommerce Launch Checklist I Use for Client Stores.

What’s included in my WooCommerce development service
- WooCommerce install and store basics (pages, currency, location, tax settings)
- Product types: simple, variable, and related catalog structure
- Payment gateway setup guidance and testing in a safe mode when available
- Shipping zones, methods, and tax rules matched to where you sell
- Order email checks so customers and you actually receive notices
- Checkout field and flow customization; fixes for broken or confusing carts
- Help repairing inherited stores and adding small custom store features
Who this is for
This fits if you are opening a WordPress shop, migrating a simple catalog into WooCommerce, or stuck with a store where checkout fails, emails never arrive, or shipping rules are wrong. It also helps when you need a custom checkout tweak without rebuilding everything.
Common pain points: “payments work in test but not live,” “variable products are a mess,” “order emails stopped,” and “the theme breaks the cart on mobile.”
How I work
- Talk – We map what you sell, where you ship, which gateways you need, and any must-have checkout fields.
- Plan / quote – I scope setup vs repair vs custom work so costs and timeline stay clear.
- Build / test – I configure the store and run test orders before you invite real customers.
- Handover / support – You learn how to add products and handle common order tasks; I remain available for follow-ups if agreed.
Stores that match how you sell
Every catalog is different. A simple product list with one payment gateway needs a different setup than variable products, mixed shipping zones, or B2B-style inquiry flows. I configure WooCommerce around your real constraints – countries you ship to, tax rules you must follow, and the emails your customers expect after they pay.
If you already have a store, I start by reproducing the bug: a failed checkout, a missing order email, or a theme conflict on the cart. Fixing the right layer beats installing another “optimization” plugin that adds more scripts to an already heavy shop.
WooCommerce development FAQ
Can you fix my existing WooCommerce store?
Yes. Many projects are repairs: checkout errors, email failures, theme conflicts, or messy product data.
Do you process payments for me?
No. You create accounts with your payment providers. I help connect and test them in WordPress.
Will the store work on mobile?
I check cart and checkout on smaller screens. Theme limitations sometimes need CSS or template fixes.
Can you add custom product fields or checkout fields?
Often yes, with care so updates do not wipe the customization. We pick the lightest approach that works.
What about performance on product-heavy catalogs?
Large catalogs need hosting, caching, and image discipline. I can flag issues and point you to speed work when needed.
